Carla Baum
Die ZeitCarla Baum is a German journalist and editor based in Berlin. Born in 1989, she studied Cultural Studies and Political Science at Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where she completed her master’s degree, before attending the Axel Springer School of Journalism in Berlin. After early professional stations at taz and Die Welt, she joined ZEIT in November 2019, initially serving as Deputy Head of ZEIT Magazin Online. Since 2024, she has co-led the newly established Family section at ZEIT and ZEIT Online together with Tillmann Prüfer.

Dinah Riese
tazDinah Riese is a Berlin based journalist and author. Since 2024 she is the head of the domestic affairs department at the German daily newspaper taz. Her journalistic work has won several awards. In 2022, she, Patricia Hecht, and Gesine Agena published their book “Selbstbestimmt. Für reproduktive Rechte” (Self-determined. For reproductive rights) with Klaus Wagenbach Verlag.

Ioannis Stylianidis
Hochschule für Jüdische Studien HeidelbergIoannis Stylianidis is a PhD candidate at the Ignatz Bubis Chair for the History, Religion, and Culture of European Jewry at the Heidelberg University of Jewish Studies and at Heidelberg University. He is also a member of the Heidelberg Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Originally from Greece, his research examines contemporary antisemitism in Greece, Europe, and beyond, with a particular focus on how it is reflected in the press, media, and political discourse.
