RTL School of Journalism: An evening on Antisemitism

This in-person session brought together journalism trainees and editorial professionals at the RTL School of Journalism to discuss antisemitism and responsible reporting in a structured and practice-oriented setting. The event featured insights from RTL News foreign correspondent Raschel Blufarb and a community perspective from Ron Dekel, President of the Jewish Student Union Germany. With more than 30 participants, the discussion addressed key dilemmas in contemporary reporting, including expectations placed on Jewish voices, implicit framing patterns, and the challenges of covering antisemitism in times of geopolitical conflict and social polarization.
