As part of the JSUD Shabbaton in Munich, this community-based panel created a space to reflect on public discourse, representation, and the pressures Jewish communities face after October 7. The Shabbaton brought together 98 participants from across Germany and beyond, with strong engagement from young community leaders and professionals. The session featured a keynote by journalist Shahrzad Eden Osterer and a panel with EDA authors, exploring the emotional and strategic challenges of public communication, including tokenization, media expectations, and the ongoing burden of “fighting a narrative” in polarized debate.
